

Sometimes underestimated, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo D.O.C. may offer instead versions of great interest and rich personality. Montipagano has chosen to give its own Trebbiano a character of great plesantness and ease of drink, without anyhow loosing much in structure and personality.
Grapes: Trebbiano 90%, Pecorino 10%

Production area: Municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi
Vineyard: Planted on a soil with a perfect balance between sand and clay, and a good presence of stones, ideal for winegrowning, it has a south-west exposure and it is situated at about 200 mt above sea level. The plant density is of 1600 per hectar, canopy trained. The agronomic management is lead in compliancy with the regulations for organic agricolture.
Grape Harvest: The right time for harvesting is decided, after carefully following the trend of grapes' ripening, in order to make it happen at the moment when a perfect balance between acidity and sugar is reached.
Winemaking: The must ferments at temperature which is kept between 16°C and 18°C for about10-12 days. A short refining period of about 3 months follows, in contact with its yeasts.
The winemaker's notes: Pale yellow with greenish reflexes, it has an intense flower bouquet recalling peach and citrus fruit; on the palate, the taste is clean, well balanced, and with a lingering final.
How to serve: At a temperature of 10-12°C in tulip glass
